SERVICE AND ADJUSTMENTS

HEADLIGHT WIRE

Raise hood.

HARNESS CONNECTOR

eDisconnect headlight wire harness connector

Remove

screw used to attach

hood

tanyard to

front of

HOOD MOUNTING

 

 

Hold hood securely to

 

 

failing

 

engine

prevent

hood from

BRACKET

eRemove clevis pins, flatwashers and hairpins used to attach hood to mounting brackets

eTo reinstall reverse above procedure

ENGINE

TO ADJUST CHOKE CONTROL

ViEW FROM RIGHT SiDE OF TRACTOR

(See Fig. 43)

The choke control has beenpreset at factory and adjustment

should not be necessary, Check adjustment as described

below before loosening clamp screw If adjustment is

necessary,proceed as foJ!ows

Move choke control to '*CHOKE" position Carburetor

choke should be closed tf not choke needs to be adjusted.

Place

control lever in "CHOKE" position, Loosen casing

Move casing and wire until choke is completely closed

®Tighten casing clamp screw
