ENERGY DEPLETION FOREWARNIN G FUNCTION
v TO PREVENT TH E ENERGY DEPLETION
● When the e nergy stored in th e rechargeable b attery is red uced to an extrem ely
low level, the second hand star ts moving at 2-se cond inter vals inste ad of the
normal 1-second inte rvals.
● In that c ase, re charge t he watc h as soon a s possi ble by exposing it to light.
Otherwise, the watch may stop operating in a bout 3 days. ( For recharg ing the
watch, see “HOW TO CHARG E AND START THE WATCH”)
• When we aring the w atch, make sure that the wa tch i s not cove red b y
clothing.
• When the watch is not in use, l eave it in a bright pla ce as long as possib le.
* Make sure that the watch temperature does not exceed 50 °C.

l Thi s wat ch i s pro vided with a r echarg eable bat tery for exclus ive u se w ith
the watch . Unlike conven tional battery -powered watch es, th erefore, batte ry
replacement is not n ecessary.
l The sol ar cell is a cle an energy sour ce, having no ad verse eff ect on the nat ural
environment.
● Never insert a conven tional sil ver oxide batter y in yo ur watch as it may
explode, generate an intense heat or catch fire. The watch is so d esigned
that if a wro ng bat tery is ins tal led in t he w atc h, t he w atc h wi ll n ot
operate.

l To unscrew the crown:
Turn the crown counterclo ckwise. (T hen, pull it out for ti me/calen dar setting)
l To screw in the crown:
With the crown at the nor mal position, tur n it clockwi se while pressin g it.
