Connection to equipment with
Usingthe microphone
In order to get the most out of this microphone please observe the following instructions:
MKE 4032 P 3'("Rock" version)
. Hold the microphone very dose to the mouth (Iip contact)
. Avoid covering the protective mesh cage with your hand
. If distortion accurs correct the setting at the mixing desk or switch in the
MKE 4032 P ("Studio" version)
. Speak across the top of the microphone
. Avoid covering the protective mesh cage with your hand
.In the event of wind interference or extreme demands upon pop noise use the supplied windscreen
Adjustingthe Microphone Sensitivity
The microphone can process a maximum sound pressure level of >140 dB without distortion. When this level is reached the signal voltage at the microphone output is approx. 1000 mV. In order to prevent the microphone input stage of the connected equipment from being overloaded the microphone sensitivity can be stepped down in two steps:

Usingthe Roll off Filter
The
