STEAM MOP, BASIC SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS SHOULD

DANGER OF SCALDING.
Please use caution when
using the steam mop. The steam
emitted from the steam mop is
very hot.
POLARIZED PLUG :
This appliance has a polarized
plug (one blade is wider than
the other). As a safety feature,
this plug will fit into a polarized
outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully into the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualifie d
electrician. Do not atte mpt to
defeat this safety fea ture.
1. Use the system only for its
intended use.
2. DO NOT use outdoors.
3. DO NOT leave the appliance
unattended when plu gged in.
Always unplug the power cord
from the electrical o utlet when not
in use and before servic ing.
4. DO NO T allow the appliance to be
used by children. Close a ttention
is necessary when us ed by or near
children, pets or pla nts.
5. Use only as described in this
manual.
6. Us e only manufacturer ’s
recommended access ories.
7. DO NOT operate the appliance
with a damaged plug or cord , or
if the unit has been dropp ed or
damaged. To avoid the risk of
electric shock, do n ot disassemble
or attempt to repair the app liance

warranty) for examination an d
repair. Incorrect re-as sembly or

shock or injury to pers ons when
the appliance is used .

mop into water or any other liqui ds.

mop with wet hands or operate
appliance without sho es.

cord, use power cord as hand le,
close a door on the power cord , or
pull the power cord around sh arp
edges or corners. Kee p power cord
away from heated surfaces .

11. DO NOT unp lug by pulling on
power cord. To unplug, grasp the
plug not the power cord. Do no t
use extension cords or outl ets
with inadequate current c arrying
capacity.
12. DO N OT put any objects into
openings. Do not use wi th any
opening blocked.
13. DO NO T put hands or feet under
the steam mop. Unit gets ve ry hot.
14. Use ONLY on flat, h orizontal
surfaces. Do not use o n walls,
counters or windows.
15. DO NO T use on leather, wax
polished furniture o r floors,
synthetic fabrics, vel vet or other
delicate, steam sensiti ve materials.
16. DO NOT ad d cleaning solutions,
scented perfumes , oils or any other
chemicals to the water use d in this
appliance as this may dam age the
unit or make it unsafe for use . If
you live in a hard water area, we
recommend using disti lled water in
your steam mop.
17. Wh en in use, NEVER turn the
appliance over or on its sid e.

19. Caref ully remove the micro-fiber
pocket immediately af ter you have
unplugged and allowe d the steam
mop to cool.
20. When cleaning the steam mop,
unplug the power cord from th e
electrical outlet an d clean with a
dry or damp cloth. Do no t pour
water or use alcohol, ben zene or
paint thinner on the uni t.
21. Ex treme caution should be
exercised when using this
appliance to clean stai rs.
22. Never use steam mop without
micro-fiber pocket at tached.
23. Keep your work area well lit.
24. Store steam mop indoors in a cool,
dry place.
25. To avoid circuit overload, do not
operate another appli ance on the
same socket (circuit) as the steam
cleaner.
26. If an extension cord is absolutely
necessary, an extensio n cord rated
a minimum of 15 ampere, 1 4 gage
cord should be used. Co rds rated
for less amperage may overh eat.
Care should be taken to ar range
cord so that it cannot be pull ed or
tripped over.
27. DO NOT leave your Steam Mop
unattended when the s ystem is
connected to a power supply
/electrical outlet.
28. DO NOT store unit with damp or
wet micro-fiber cleani ng pocket
attached. Never leave th e steam
mop in one spot on any surf ace for
any period of time with a damp or
wet micro-fiber cleani ng pocket
attached as this will da mage
your floors.
29 Always unp lug and allow the steam
mop to cool before removing or
changing mop heads .
WARNING: Your steam mop
is designed to clean hard fl oor
surfaces that will withs tand high
heat. Do not use on unsea led wood
or unglazed ceramic floo rs. On
surfaces that have been tr eated
with wax or some no wax floors ,
the sheen may be removed by the
heat and steam action . It is always
recommended to test an is olated
area of the surface to be cle aned
before proceeding. We als o
recommend that you chec k the use
and care instructio ns from the floor
manufacturer.
