Refer to “Recording speed” on page 26. If you choose Auto, the unit automatically selects the best recording speed to make the best quality picture according to the remaining disc space.

This function works only on the Program 1 in the DVD recording.

The recording may be cut short, when the available recording space of the disc is too limited.

Your program setting will be stored.

• To set another program, repeat STEPs 4 to 10.

• To exit, press TIMER PROG. or

SETUP.

• When programs are overlapped, “Overlap” and the overlapped program number will appear on the display.

Press T-SET to turn off.

The unit will be set in the timer standby

mode. indicator will appear on the front display.

Also the DVD or VCR indicates in the display window which you set.

• After this step, the available functions for the other component will be limited to a playback and basic recording.You can not use SETUP or change output mode under such conditions.

Check the information on the list you will need.

To clear the timer programming, select the program using Cursor

K/ L.Then, press CLEAR/C.RESET.

To correct the timer program- ming, select the program using Cursor K / L. Then, press ENTER. Next, correct the timer programming by using

Cursor K / L / { / B.

Finally, press ENTER again.

PressTIMER PROG. to exit.

Press T-SET to return to the timer standby mode.

• To confirm the timer pro-

gramming, press POWER

first and then TIME PROG.

when the unit is in timer

standby mode. Or, press

TIME PROG. while using

the side of the unit that is

free from Timer Recording

(either DVD or VCR).You

cannot select any programs

for correction or add new

programs while the unit is in

timer standby mode.

To stop the Timer Recording in progress

Press STOP C to stop the disc recording or STOP/EJECT C/A to stop the videotape recording on the front panel of the main unit. STOP C on the remote control is not effective.

• When all the Timer Recording

is completed, the

indicator

flashes.To play or eject the

recorded disc (or the video-

tape), press T-SETor

 

POWER first and then press

PLAY B or OPEN/CLOSE A
(or STOP/EJECT C/A).

• The unit will be turned on

automatically before the

recording time.
