Useful features

Audio

1 Press MENU to display the TV menu.

2 Press a/bto select “Audio”, and then press ENTER.

3 Press a/bto select the desired adjustment item, and then press ENTER.

Each item can now be selected or the next menu appears.

Press c/dto make the adjustment.

NOTE

In the “Audio output” item, mono-video recorders should select “Sound1” or “Sound2”. Stereo-video recorders should select “Sound1+2” so that the desired sound can be selected when playing back the video.

Hi-fi sound

This function allows you to enjoy higher sound quality when connecting AV-IN3/

OUT terminals to an external amplifier.

To use this function, set “AV-IN3/OUT”

 

setting to “OUT” in the Features menu (see

 

page 19).

Select “Hi-fi” for “Sound via” item in the

 

Audio menu.

 

• The sound from the built-in speakers will be

 

turned off.
