Adjusting VIRTUAL DOLBY SURROUND Settings

You can enjoy the SURROUND 2ch stereo with Dolby Pro Logic II technology.

VIRTUAL DOLBY SURROUND is a technology certified by Dolby Laboratories that creates a virtualized surround sound experience from two speakers using Dolby Pro Logic or Dolby Pro Logic II.

VIRTUAL DOLBY SURROUND retains all the original multichannel audio information and provides the listener with the sensation of being surrounded by additional speakers.

1 Press Virtual to display the DOLBY VIRTUAL screen.

2 Press Virtual to select ON.

Setting the VIRTUAL DOLBY SURROUND on the MENU screen

1 Press MENU to display the MENU screen.

2 Press a/bto move the cursor to AV ADJUST, and press ENTER.

3 Press a/bto move the cursor to AUDIO ADJUST, and press

ENTER.

4 Press a/bto move the cursor to DOLBY VIRTUAL, and press

ENTER.

5 Press c/dto select ON.

6 Pres MENU to return to the main screen.

•VIRTUAL DOLBY SURROUND does not work when sound is output from the headphones.

•When OUT is selected in AV3 IN/OUT setting, VIRTUAL DOLBY SURROUND does not work.

•When ON is selected in the DOLBY VIRTUAL setting, you cannot adjust BALANCE.

•For some discs, setup may be required on your DVD. In this case, please refer to the operation manual of your DVD player.
