Basic adjustment settings (Digital)

Installation

The fi rst time the receiver is powered on, “Programme
list is empty” will display on the screen. Under the main
menu, select “Installation” and enter into the sub-
menu.
Press a/b to select “Setup”, and then press
ENTER.

Press DTV MENU to display the DTV menu
screen.

Press a/b to select “Installation”, and then
press ENTER.
If you have already set the password, enter it
here. If not, enter the factory preset password
“1234”.

Auto Search

You can automatically search for and download TV
channels.
Press c/d to select “Yes”, and then press
ENTER.

Press a/b to select “Auto Search”, and then
press ENTER.

Auto search starts.
• Programme auto search
You do not need to do anything during the
auto search.

NOTE
• Once the DTV signal is scanned, the channel number and
programme name will be shown on the programme list.
• The indicator operates concurrently with scanning channels
and shows the progress made.

Manual Adjust

You can set some channel items manually.
Press a/b to select “Manual Adjust”, and then
press ENTER.

Start Scan
Press a/b to select the desired menu item, and
make sure the correct frequency is selected.

Press a/b to select “Start Scan”, and then
press ENTER.

NOTE
• If a signal locks in, “Start Scan” will change to “Get Channel
Success”. Then you can press EXIT to leave the installation
page and watch a programme or continue scanning for
other channels. Anytime you watch a DTV channel and
want to know the “Signal Level”, “Quality” or “SNR”, enter
into this page.
• If a signal does not lock in, “Start Scan” will show “Timeout
Error”. You can scan the signal again, or refer to the “Signal
Level” and “Quality” for aligning the direction of the antenna
to get the signal.
Signal Level: The signal power or intensity from the
broadcasted frequency.
Quality: The clean level of the signal from the broadcasted
frequency.
SNR: The rate of signal and noise to radiated frequency.
