Using a different telephone in thesame way as your ownYou can log on to another telephone belonging to the
HiPath400 0 system via a personal identification num-
ber (PIN) (this includes telephones of networked
HiPath400 0 systems, for example, at other branches of
your company). At the other telephone you can then:
• make calls and assign the charges to cost centres,
• make calls and assign the charges to specific
projects,
• retrieve messages from your mailbox,
• set appointments.
Using an internal PIN, you can have your calls diverted
to a telephone in the office or department where you
will be for a temporary period (call forwarding - "follow
me").
Logging on to a different telephone
Identifying yourself with a System-PIN and
dialling
Prerequisite: You have been assigned a PIN by System
Support. You require an internal PIN for calls within your
own HiPath4000 system, while for calls involving other
HiPath400 0 systems in the integrated network you re-
quire a network-wide PIN.
Press the off-hook
key
twice.
--> OK Select and confirm the service menu.
Enter the service code
(61 for PIN 1, 62 for PIN 5 2 etc.).
or
--> OK Select and confirm.
--> OK Select and confirm.
If you have several PINs and wish to use another one,
select the other PIN.
You are prompted to enter the PIN by the message "En-
ter station no." or "Enter ID" on the display.
