conserveelectricity by dropping to less than 5 Wwhen it goes into
standby,suspend and OFF mode. With this new power management the
C384FA-Mqualifies for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA)
EnergyStar Computers award.
TheEPA estimates that computer equipment uses 5% percent of all business electricity and it is
growingrapidly. If all desktop computers and peripherals enter a low-power mode when not in use,
theoverall savings in electricity could amount to $ 2 thousand million annually. These savings could
alsoprevent the emission of 20 million tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere - the equivalent of
5million automobiles.
Asan Energy Star Partner, Fujitsu SiemensComputers GmbH has determined that this product
meetsthe Energy Star guidelines for energy efficiency.
