Using the directory and lists
Voice dialling
You can dial numbers from the directory by speaking the name. In order for your handset to "recognise" you, you must record a voice pattern for each name, i.e. loudly say the name into the handset and store it.
In addition, (depending on the base sta- tion), you can set your handset so that it announces the caller's name when an external call is received, instead of playing a ringtone.
You can store voice patterns for a total of 30 directory entries. Entries with voice patterns are marked with ´.
Recording voice patterns
Record your voice pattern in quiet sur- roundings. Your mouth should be around 25 cm away from the handset. The voice pattern can be 1.5 seconds long.
Note:
If you use voice dialling predominantly with a handsfree set, then it is beneficial to record the voice pattern via the handsfree set.
