6.4.2.2 Fault Flags/Data associated w ith Integral OTU
Fault Flag 58 - Fault with the Integral OTU and/or the facility (FLD 81)
Fault Data 81
This single fault data byte indicates the problem with the integral OTU
facility or the integral OTU itself.
Bit 0: Automatically set when the integral OTU has any fault in its fault
log, use the OTU commands 'GLF' and 'KLF' to examine the OTU
fault log.
Bit 1: The Integral OTU has appeared to have failed or is not connected.
RFL=1 will clear this fault if the OTU is now running, i.e. it failed for
just a short time.
The following faults cannot be cleared by RFL=1 alone, most require the
OTU facility to be reset by either:
Changing the value of the OTU fitted flag - OTF command,
