Attaching an External Antenna

You can improve the signal strength by attaching an external antenna with an SMK connector (sold separately). The recommended antenna is the 5-band blade antenna with SMK connector, available from www.sierrawireless.com.

1.If the USB modem is connected to your computer, remove it.

2.Gently flip open the unlabelled tab on the side of the USB modem.

3.Hold the antenna cable by the connector (end) part, and carefully insert the connector part of the cable into the corresponding connector on the USB modem.

4.Reinsert the USB modem into your computer.
