PROFONDEUR DE COUPE MAXIMUM

Remarque : Cette fonction est réglée pendant le montage. Des réglages complémentaires peuvent être nécessaires ultérieurement en raison de l’usure de l’outil.

Débranchez la fiche de la prise de courant. Réglez l’outil sur l’angle de biseau zéro. Placez l’outil sur sa semelle sur une surface horizontale plate de façon que l’arrière de la semelle dépasse du bord du banc de travail d’environ 2 po (5 cm). Desserrez le levier de réglage de la profondeur. Réglez l’outil sur la profondeur maximum de coupe. Si la vis de réglage entre en contact avec le carter du moteur avant d’avoir atteint la profondeur de coupe maximum, abaissez la vis de réglage en utilisant une clé Allen de 3/16 po jusqu’à ce que vous ayez atteint la profondeur de coupe maximum. Si la vis de réglage

n’est pas en contact avec le carter du moteur lorsque la profondeur de coupe maximum est atteinte, faites remonter la vis de réglage jusqu’à ce qu’elle effleure le carter du moteur (Fig. 7).

UTILISATION DE LA CLÉ

La clé fournie a plusieurs fonctions en plus du desserrage/resserrage du boulon de fixation de la lame (Fig. 8).

1.Desserrage/resserrage du boulon de fixation de la lame (clé de 1/2 po).

2.Desserrage/resserrage de l’ensemble combiné du bouchon d’huile / bouton de verrouillage (clé de 1/2 po).

3.Desserrage/resserrage des capuchons des balais de charbon (tournevis pour vis à fente).

4.Desserrage/resserrage des leviers de réglage pour la coupe en biseau et pour la profondeur de coupe lorsque les leviers sont excessivement serrés ou quand il est nécessaire de serrer davantage (clé de 9/16 po).

5.Éjection du diamant du trou pour arbre de la lame (coin).

Une zone de remisage est prévue sur l’outil (Fig. 1 A). La clé est dans la position correcte lorsque le deuxième cran de verrouillage est engagé. La clé doit être insérée avec l’orientation correcte (Fig. 9). Une insertion incorrecte de la clé pourrait endommager l’ouvrage.
