USING THE CONFIGURATION UTILITY

Using the Configuration Utility

1.Click Start/Programs/SMC2870W/SMC2870W Configuration Utility.

2.The program will automatically scan for SMC2870W access points on the network. If you want to subsequently detect all access points on the network, click the Scan button. From the list of detected SMC2870Ws, double-click on the IP address of the unit you wish to configure. A dialogue box will prompt you for the login password.

Note: Clicking the SMC logo on the screen takes you to the SMC web site (www.smc.com) for the latest firmware download.

3. Enter the default password: smcadmin and click OK.
