In a freestanding situation allow adequate ventilation around the microwave from any overhead, rear and side wall constructions. If combining the microwave with a trim kit for a 'built-in' situation, (where more than one side of the appliance is closed in) the specification and installation requirements are as per the trim kit instruction manual.
