REMOVING & RE-ATTACHING THE GRASS CATCHER

Removing the Grass Catcher & tubes

1.Remove the hair pin clips (D, Figure 1) and hinge pins (B) and remove the cover (A).

2.Remove the bags (A, Figure 2) by lifting them off their hooks. Empty any grass out the bags.

3.Unclip middle and lower tube assembly (B, Figure 4) and remove from turbo and upper tube.

4.Warning: Back plate (A) will fall when rod (D) is removed. Remove the hair pin (B, Figure 3) and rod

(D) while holding back plate (A).

5.Lift the back plate and support assembly (A, Figure 3) off hitch plate (C).

WARNING

OPERATION WITHOUT TURBO & CATCHER

For operation without turbo, the mower deflector MUST be properly installed in the down position and retained by the spring latch (see turbo operator’s manual).
