Extended functions

The key can be programmed with the following functions: Hold, unit switch-over, BMI and special Dialysis function. The standard function programmed is BMI. You can make changes in User mode

(p. 20/21).

Press the function key .

Display, e.g. 170 = body height in cm

Body height > 170cm: Press

key until body

 

height is correct.

 

Body height < 170cm: Press

key until body

 

height is correct.

 

Confirm by pressing

Display switches to weighing mode 0.00 kg.

Weighing.

 

After the scales have stopped moving, the display

 

shows the BMI and weight alternately.

Special dialysis function (intermediate tare)

 

If this function is set, the operator may give the

 

patient a blanket or a book or remove them without

 

affecting the weight reading.

 

 

Press the key. "Hold" appears in the display. Give

 

or take back book and press

again. Previous

 

weight reading will be displayed without Hold but with

 

"N". The reading is now a net weight. The tare is sto-

 

red in the tare memory.

 

 

Hold function

 

 

When this mode is active, press the key. "Hold"

 

flashes until the value is determined and frozen.
