Safety Instructions

The appliance has no power switch. When the power plug is connected to the power sup- ply and the scales, the appliance is supplied with power. When the appliance is switched off, the "OFF" message appears in the display.

Appliances which have become moist due to a change in ambient temperature may only be switched on after they are completely dry. Power supplies which have become moist may not be switched on at all. Replace them with a genuine power supply. Only use power supplies which comply with European Standard EN 60601-1.

Intended use

These Soehnle scales are intended for weighing patients. With stand-mounted and case scales, weighing may only take place if the patient is standing. With chair scales, weighing may only take place if the patient is sitting.
