LEDs
The LED patterns in the Helix are as follows:
(Left) – 3G
•Off : 3G connection is not active
•On : 3G connection is active
(Middle) – Signal Strength (RSSI)
•On Solid : Equal to or stronger than -69dBm (excellent signal strength)
•Fast Blink : -70 to -79dBm
•Normal Blink : -80 to -89dBm
•Slow Blink : -90 to -99dBm
•Off : Equal to or weaker than -100dBm (no signal strength)
(Right) – WWAN Status
•Off : No cell module detected
•Blinking : cellular module detected, communicating with the Helix CPU. This
LED is hardware dependent and may blink differently depending on the
installed cellular module.
Cellular Antennas The AirLink Helix requires two cellular antennas, as shown in Figure3-2.
Depending on your Helix kit, antennas may or may not be included.
