•In TV or STB mode, if you press any of the
buttons above, the TV or STB button lights up.
(However, depending on the code setting, some
buttons may not work, and the TV or STB
button may not light up.)
•Depending on the TV or equipment you may not
be able to use some of the buttons.
You can control non-Sony equipment by
changing the preset code of the remote
control.
1Press HOME.
The home menu appears on the TV
screen.
2Press B/b to select [Setup].
3Press V/v to select [Remote
Control Setting Guide], then
press .
4Press V/v to select [Preset
Mode], then press .
5Press V/v to select the
equipment type that you want to
operate with the supplied remote
control, then press .
6Press V/v to select the device’s
manufacturer, then press .
7Press POP UP/MENU while
pressing TV (for a TV) or STB (for
a cable box, digital satellite
receiver, digital video recorder,
etc.).
8When the TV or STB button
starts flashing, enter the code on
the TV screen using the number
buttons, then press ENTER.
If you successfully set the code, the TV
or STB button will flash twice slowly.
If the setting is unsuccessful, the TV or
STB button will flash five times
quickly.
•You can ex it Preset mode by pressing the TV or
STB button (whichever button is flashing).
•If you do not operate the remote control for
more than 10 seconds during presetting mode,
the remote control exits from presetting mode.
1While holding down AV ?/1, hold
down VOL –, then press CH –.
The BD, TV, and STB buttons light up.
2Release all buttons.
The BD, TV, and STB buttons turn off
and the preset code is cleared. The
remote control returns to its default
settings.
