AiwaStrategicAccountsPartnershipInc.(“Aiwa”)warrantstotheoriginalconsumerpurchaserthatthisproductisfreeofdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipatthetimeofpurchase.

WARRANTYPERIODS DuringtheapplicableLABORwarrantyperiod,Aiwawillpaylaborandservicechargesfortherepairofdefectsor,atitsoption,willreplaceadefectiveproductwithaneworremanufactured equivalentproduct.DuringtheapplicablePARTSwarrantyperiod,Aiwawillsupplyatnochargeneworrebuiltreplacementpartsinexchangefordefectiveparts.However,aftertheLABOR warrantyperiod,alllaborandservicechargesareyourresponsibility.ReplacementpartsarewarrantedfortheremainderoftheoriginalPARTSwarrantyperiod.

WHOPERFORMSAIWA’SWARRANTY? Aiwa’swarrantyobligationsmustbeperformedbyanAiwaAuthorizedServiceCenter.ForthenameoftheAiwaAuthorizedServiceCenternearesttoyoucalltollfree1-800-289-2492(1-800-BUY-AIWA).

WHATYOUMUSTDO Toobtainwarrantyperformance,youmusttaketheproduct,ordelivertheproductfreightprepaid,toanAiwaAuthorizedServiceCenter.Ifshipped,theproductmustbepackagedsothatitis protectedfrompossibleshippingdamage.Youmustpickuptheproductwhenwarrantyperformanceiscompletedor,ifyouchoose,andtheproductwasreceivedbytheServiceCenterduring theLABORwarrantyperiod,therepairedproductwillbereturnedtoyoufreightprepaid.YoumustpresenttotheServiceCenter,orincludewithyourshipment,adealer’sbillofsale,orother originalevidence,showingthedateandplaceofpurchaseanddescribingtheproductpurchased.Besuretoincludeyourreturnaddressanddaytimetelephonenumberwhereyoucanbereached shouldtheneedarise.

WHATTHEWARRANTYDOESNOTCOVER Thiswarrantydoesnotcover(1)productspurchasedoutsideoftheU.S.A.;(2)productset-up,adjustmentofcontrols,repairofantennasystemsoutsidetheunit;(3)removalorreinstallation, batteries,carryingcase,ACadaptersandotheraccessoriespackagedwiththeproduct;(4)defectsoccurringafterpurchaseduetorepairorserviceotherthanbyanAiwaAuthorizedService Center,productmodification,accident,misuse,abuse,ornegligence;or(5)receptionproblemscausedbysignalconditions,orcableorantennasystemsoutsidetheunit.Thiswarrantywillnot applyiftheserialnumberoftheunithasbeenalteredorremoved.

REPAIRORREPLACEMENTASPROVIDEDINTHISWARRANTYISTHEPURCHASER’SEXCLUSIVEWARRANTYREMEDY.IMPLIEDWARRANTIES,INCLUDINGTHEWARRANTIESOF MERCHANTABILITYANDOFFITNESSFORAPARTICULARPURPOSE,SHALLNOTEXTENDBEYONDTHEDURATIONOFTHEAPPLICABLEPARTSWARRANTYPERIOD.INNOEVENTSHALL AIWABELIABLEFORINCIDENTALORCONSEQUENTIALDAMAGESINCONNECTIONWITHTHISPRODUCT.Somestatesdonotallowlimitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarrantylastsorthe exclusionorlimitationofincidentalorconsequentialdamages,sotheabovelimitationsorexclusionmaynotapplytoyou.Thiswarrantygivesyouspecificlegalrights,andyoumayalsohave otherrightswhichmayvaryfromstatetostate.
