Playing a tape
The system can play three types of tapes: Type I (normal), Type II (CrO2) and Type IV (metal). The system automatically detects the tape type so there is no need to specify it.
To turn on the system, press ?/1.

1 Press TAPE EJECT Z and insert a recorded tape into the cassette holder.
With the side you want to play facing towards you

2 Press TAPE.
“TAPE” appears.
3 Press DIR MODE on the remote repeatedly to select “ ” to play one
side of the tape, “ | ” to play both |
sides, or “ ”* to play both sides repeatedly.
*The tape automatically stops after playing back five times.
4 Press TAPE nN.
The tape starts playing.
To change the playback direction, press TAPE nN again. The reverse side will begin playing.
