Playing your favorite play

lists (m3u play list play)

1In the step 1 of “Changing Playback Options (PLAY MODE)” (page 22), select (play list).

2Turn the operation dial on the remote toward  or  to select a play list you want.

3Press .

On the CD player

1In the step 3 of “Changing Playback Options (PLAY MODE)” on the CD player (page 22), select “PLAYLIST.”

2Flick the jog lever toward / to select a play list.

3Press  on the jog lever.

Playing tracks in your favorite order (PGM play)

1While the player stopped, turn the function dial on the remote to select P MODE/ and press the function button repeatedly until “PGM” (program) flashes.

Playing order Track name or file name

2Turn the VOL +/– control to select a track, and then press and hold  until the display changes.

When playing an ATRAC CD/MP3 CD: You can also select a file in another group

by turning the operation dial toward  or  while you keep the dial pressed in the direction of .

3Repeat step 2 to select tracks in your favorite order.

You can select up to 64 tracks.

When you finish entering the 64th track, the track number selected first (audio CD)/file name (ATRAC CD/MP3 CD) appears on the display.

If you select 65 tracks or more, the tracks selected first are erased one by one.

4Press  on the remote.

Playback starts in the selected order.

On the CD player

1Select “PROGRAM” in step 3 of the player operation for “Changing Playback

Options (PLAY MODE)” (page 22), and then press  on the jog lever.

2Turn the jog lever toward / to select your tracks, and press and hold  until the display changes.

3After selecting your favorite order, press  on the jog lever.

To check the program

1While the player is stopped, turn the function dial to select P MODE/ and press the function button repeatedly until “PGM” flashes. Then, press and hold  on the remote until the display changes. Whenever you press and hold , the tracks are displayed in playing order. (On the CD player: While the player is stopped, select “PROGRAM” in step 3 of the player operation for “Changing Playback Options (PLAY MODE)”

(page 22), and press and hold  until the display changes. Whenever you press and hold , the tracks are displayed in playing order.)

To cancel the PGM play

Press  on the remote (/CHG on the CD player).
