Method 1: Audio cord (D) connection

This is the basic connection and sends an analog audio signal.

Method 2: Digital optical cord (E) or digital coaxial cord (F) connection

When the TV has a digital optical or coaxial output jack, you can improve sound quality by connecting with a digital optical or coaxial cord in addition to an audio cord connection.

Note

The system can accept both digital and analog signals. Digital signals have priority over analog signals. (COAXIAL has priority over OPTICAL.) If the digital signal ceases, the analog signal will be processed after 2 seconds.

Tip

You can connect another component, such as a VCR, digital satellite receiver, or PlayStation, to the TV/VIDEO (AUDIO IN R/L) jacks or DIGITAL IN OPTICAL/COAXIAL jacks instead of the TV.
