Deleting/Editing images

Your camera cannot delete an image.

•Cancel the protection (page 56).

•You are using the “Memory Stick Duo” with the write-protect switch, and the switch is set to the LOCK position. Set the switch to the recording position (page 117).

You have deleted an image by mistake.

•Once you have deleted an image, you cannot restore it. We recommend that you protect images (page 55), or use the “Memory Stick Duo” with the write-protect switch and set the switch to the LOCK position (page 117) to prevent accidental erasure.

The resizing function does not work.

•You cannot resize movies, Multi Burst images, and images in the Album.

You cannot display a DPOF (Print order) mark.

•You cannot display DPOF (Print order) marks on images in the Album and movies.

You cannot cut a movie.

•The movie is not long enough to cut (shorter than about two seconds).

•Cancel the protection (page 56).

•Still images cannot be cut.

You cannot paint.

•You cannot paint on images in the Album.

•There is not enough free-capacity in media. Delete unnecessary images.
