Charging the battery pack

Use the battery pack after charging it for your VCR.

You can charge the battery with your VCR.

(1) Install the battery pack.

(2) Open the DC IN jack cover and connect the AC power adaptor (supplied with your VCR) to the DC IN jack with the plug’s v mark facing right.

(3) Connect the power cord to the AC power adaptor.

(4) Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

(5) Set the POWER switch to OFF. When charging begins, the POWER ON/ CHARGE lamp lights up orange.

Getting started

After charging the battery pack

Disconnect the AC power adaptor from the DC IN jack on your VCR.

Notes

Prevent metallic objects from coming into contact with the metal parts of the DC plug of the AC power adaptor. Otherwise, a short-circuit may occur and damage the AC power adaptor.

Keep the battery pack dry.

If the battery pack is not to be used for an extended period, charge the battery pack once fully, and then use it until it fully discharges again. Keep the battery pack in a cool place.

When the battery pack is charged fully

The POWER ON/CHARGE lamp goes off.
