Creating the Playlist

A Playlist is a list showing thumbnails of the movies that you have selected. The original scenes are not changed even if you edit or delete the scenes in the Playlist.

bNotes

•During Easy Handycam operation, you cannot add movies to the Playlist or edit the Playlist. Cancel Easy Handycam operation (p. 24).

•Images with HD (high definition) image quality and SD (standard definition) image quality are added to an individual Playlist.

zTips

•The images recorded by this camcorder and stored onto the “Memory Stick PRO Duo” are called “original.”

The recording dates of movies are displayed on the screen.

Previous/Next Date

3Touch v/V to select the recording date of the desired movie.

4Touch while the selected recording date is highlighted.

The movies recorded on the selected date are displayed on the screen. Touch the image on the LCD screen to confirm the movie.

Touch to return to the previous screen.

5Touch t [YES] t .

bNotes

•Do not remove the battery pack or the AC Adaptor, or eject the “Memory Stick PRO Duo” from your camcorder while editing the Playlist. It may damage the “Memory Stick PRO Duo.”

•You cannot add still images to a Playlist.

zTips

•You can add a maximum of 999 movies with HD (high definition) image quality, or 99 movies with SD (standard definition) image quality to the Playlist.

•You can add a movie also in the following steps:–On the playback screen, touch (OPTION)t tab t [ ADD]/[ ADD].–On the INDEX screen, touch (OPTION)t tab t [ ADD]/[ ADD]/[ ADD by date]/[ ADD by date].•You can copy the Playlist to a disc as it is, by using the supplied software.
