• When you connect your camcorder to a TV compatible with the ID-1/ID-2 system and play back a disc, set [TV TYPE] to [16:9]. The TV automatically switches the aspect ratio according to the playback picture. Refer also to the manual supplied with your TV.

AREA SETYou can adjust a time difference without stopping the clock.

Set your local area using v/V when using your camcorder in other time zones. Refer to the world time difference on page 88.

DST SET/SUMMERTIMEYou can change this setting without stopping the clock.Set to [ON] to move the time forward 1 hour. LANGUAGE SETYou can select the language to be used on the LCD screen.
