When you set this function to [ON], you can use the supplied Remote Commander (p. 136). The default setting is [ON].

zTips

•Set to [OFF] to prevent your camcorder from responding to a command sent by another VCR remote control unit.

HOURS METER

You can display the cumulative operation time of your camcorder with the total hours of operation, drum rotation, tape running, or the total number of tape unthreading operations.

OPERATIONDisplays the total hours of operation in 10- hour increments.DRUM RUNDisplays the total hours of drum rotation in 10-hour increments.TAPE RUNDisplays the total hours of tape running in 10-hour increments.THREADING
