5-2 Menu Operations

Switching system frequency (menu item 013)

Using the following procedure, you can set SYSTEM FREQUENCY SELECT, basic menu item 013, to “ON,” and then switch the system frequencies between 29.97, 25, 24 (J-H3 only), 23.98 (J-H3 only), and 23.98PD (J-H3 only).

(The following procedure is an example of switching from a 29.97 system to a 25 system.)

1 Select SYSTEM FREQUENCY SELECT, basic menu item 013, and display it.

The time data display and the monitor screen connected to VIDEO OUTPUT connectors show the following displays.

2 Holding down the JOG/SHUTTLE button, turn the JOG/SHUTTLE dial to change the setting from “OFF” to “ON,” then release the JOG/SHUTTLE button.

3 Press the SET/MENU button.
