
If the system still does not operate properly after performing the above measures, reset the system as follows:
1Unplug the power cord.
2Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
3Press ?/1 to turn on the system.
4Press x, ?/1 and ENTER at the same time.
5Unplug the power cord.
6Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet, then press ?/1 to turn on the system.
The system is reset to the factory settings. All the settings you made such as the preset stations, clock and timer are cleared and must be set again.
Note
You cannot reset the system in Power Saving Mode.
Messages
One of the following messages may appear or flash in the display during operation.
VIDEO CD/CD/MP3 files
Cannot Edit
You tried to use Tape Select Edit for discs containing over 20 tracks.
No Disc
There is no disc in any of DISC 1
Cannot Use
You pressed an invalid button.
NO STEP
You have cleared all the tracks you programed.
OVER
•You have reached the end of the disc while pressing Mduring play or pause.
•When
Push STOP!
You pressed PLAY MODE/TUNING MODE during play.
Step Full!
You tried to program 26 or more tracks (steps).
TOC Reading
The system is reading the TOC information of the disc. Some buttons are not available.
TAPE
No Tab
You cannot record the tape because the tab has been removed from the cassette.
No Tape
There is no tape in the tape deck.
Open
You performed a tape operation with the tape deck lid not completely shut.
