Message	Meaning/Remedy
NO DIGITAL	• You tried to make a copy from a disc that is protected by the Serial Copy
COPY	Management System. You cannot make copies from a digitally connected
	source which was itself recorded using digital connection.

NO DISC	• You tried to play or record with no disc in the recorder.
	, Insert a disc.
NO DISC	• You tried to erase a setting in the Disc Memory on a disc that contains no
MEMORY	settings in the Disc Memory (page 71).
NO GROUP	• You tried to release a group setting with a disc that has no groups.
	, Insert a disc with group settings.
	• You selected “ : Erase” with a disc without group setting.
	, You cannot erase groups with a disc with no groups.
NO INPUT	• The recorder could not detect digital input signals.
SIGNAL	, Make sure that the source is connected firmly (page 19).
NO NAME	• You tried to select “Artist” in the Main play mode with a disc that has no
	artist name information.
	• You tried to select “by Artist” in the Search function with a disc that has no
	artist name information.

NON	• You selected “ : Move” or “ : Erase”, or you tried to label a group
GROUPED	while the recorder is stopped or while playing a track that does not belong
