Limiting the Volume from the

Headphones

You can limit the headphones volume level to protect your hearing and to reduce sound leaking into the environment around you.

Press and hold BACK.

The HOME menu appears.

Press /// to select (Settings), and then press .

The list of setup options appears.

Press / to select “AVLS (Vol. Limit),” and then press .Press / to select “On,” and then press .

AVLS* is now on, limiting the headphones volume.

* AVLS is an abbreviation of the Automatic Volume Limiter System.

To cancel AVLS (Vol. Limit)

1Select “Off” in step .

The headphone volume level is no longer limited, returning control to the player’s volume settings.
