To connect a projector

You can use a projector as an external display.

1Use the symbol to locate the Monitor connector. Plug the RGB signal cable into this connector.

2Use the i symbol to locate the Headphone connector. Plug the audio cable into this connector.

The optional display adapter PCGA-DA5 allows you to connect a display directly to the port replicator connector (see page 48) eliminating the need for the port replicator.

To select a display

When you connect an external display to the monitor connector, you can press Fn+F7 to toggle the output between the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), the external monitor, or both devices.
