Creating a Screen Saver

A screen saver is a program which protects the screen by automatically covering a still image with a moving image if the computer has not been used for a few minutes.

To create a screen saver, proceed as follows:

1Create a Collection. See Creating a collection.

2Click Select All from the Edit menu to display all images in the display area.

3Select Screen Saver from the Utilities menu. The Screen Saver Settings dialog box appears.

You can arrange the images in the order you want them displayed. To do this, click an image from the Slide list and click the Up and Down buttons.

If you select the Random Playing check box, the order for slides set in the Slide list is ignored and the slides are displayed at random.

You can also select effects and sound for the screen saver.

4Click OK.

The screen saver is set.
