	Expansion capabilities
User	There are four expansion slots at the rear of your VAIO computer, as follows:
Desktop	❑	CNR/PCI slot containing the modem card and PCI PCMCIA card (bottom).
	❑ PCI slot containing the Giga Pocket ports.
VAIO	❑	Empty PCI slot.
	❑	AGP slot containing the graphics card (top).
Sony	The empty PCI slot allows you the choice of adding to the expansion capabilities of your computer. See
	Upgrading your VAIO computer (page 93) for more details.

You are strongly advised not to add hardware yourself. Please contact your local Sony dealer for advice on changing the internal hardware components.
