4Have a look through the different tabs and check for abnormalities.

5Restart your computer.

❑The default setting for the printer port mode is correct for most printers, but you can try to change the printer port mode, as follows:

1Turn on the computer and press <F2> when the Sony logo appears. The BIOS setup menu screen appears.

2Use the keyboard’s arrow keys to select the Advanced menu.

3Select I/O Device Configuration, then press the <Enter> key.

4Select Parallel Port Mode, then press the <Enter> key.

5Select a printer port option using the arrow keys, then press <Enter>.

The documentation delivered with your printer should give you the relevant port option.

6Press <F10> to exit, or use the arrow keys to select Save and Exit.. The message Save configuration changes and exit now? appears.

7Make sure that Yes is selected and then press <Enter>.

8Your computer restarts.

When I remove a Memory Stick™, an error message appears

Insert the Memory Stick™ into the slot again and press <Enter>. Wait until the active application finishes, then remove the Memory Stick™. If the message confirms the ejection of the Memory Stick™, click OK.
