1 Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN connector of the Video Recorder.

2 Connect the AC cord to the AC power adapter (1), then plug the AC cord into a wall outlet (2).

Notes

•The clock blinks in the front panel display when you turn on the Video Recorder for the first time.

•For details on setting the clock, refer to “Step 5: Setting the Clock” on page 20.

When installing the Video Recorder vertically

You can install the Video Recorder vertically when you attach the supplied stand to either side of the Video Recorder.

When you attach the stand, lay the Video Recorder down on one side and slide the stand into the slot on the other side of the Video Recorder.

Note

Attach the stand after connecting all cords.
