Using a USB AC Adaptor
You can use the IC recorder while it is
connected to an AC outlet using an
AC-U50AG or an AC-U501AD USB AC
adaptor (not supplied). This is useful when
you want to record for a long time.
1Connect a USB AC adaptor (not
supplied) to an AC outlet.
2Connect the USB AC adaptor to the
supplied USB connecting cable.
3Connect the USB connecting cable to the
(USB) connector of the IC recorder.

Disconnecting the IC

Follow the procedures below; otherwise,
when the IC recorder contains data files, the
files may be damaged or become
unplayable.
1If you are recording or playing back a
file, press x(stop) to put the IC recorder
into the stop mode.
2Make sure that the operation indicator of
the IC recorder does not light.
3Disconnect the USB connecting cable
from the (USB) connector of the IC
recorder, then disconnect the USB AC
adaptor from the USB connecting cable,
and then disconnect the USB AC adaptor
from the AC outlet.

• During recording (the operation indicator
lights or flashes in red) or accessing data (the
operation indicator flashes in orange),
–the IC recorder should not be connected to
or disconnected from the USB AC adaptor
connected to the AC outlet.
