Recording stereo and bilingual programmes
The VCR can record stereo and bilingual programmes only through the line input. When a stereo or bilingual sound is input through the line input, “STEREO” appears on the screen and in the display window. You cannot select the sound while recording.
Selecting the sound while playing
Press AUDIO MONITOR to select the sound you want.

The VCR records sounds onto two separate tracks.

Notes
•To listen to playback sounds in stereo, you must use the AUDIO OUT connections.
•When you play a tape recorded in monaural, the sound is heard in monaural regardless of the AUDIO MONITOR setting.
•If the AUDIO MONITOR button does not function, check that AUDIO MIX in the SET UP MENU is set to OFF.
