Using your VAIO computer

Changing the performance setting (VGN-T series)

To change the memory and graphics configuration that affects power consumption during normal operation, proceed as follows:

1Click the Start button on the Windows taskbar.

2In All Programs, click VAIO Control Center. The VAIO Control Center window appears.

3Select Performance.

4Select Memory bus: 266 MHz/Graphics core frequency: 200 MHz Priority is given to power saving.

By default, Memory bus: 266 MHz/Graphics core frequency: 200 MHz Priority is given to power saving is selected.

5Click OK.

To activate the change, you must restart your computer.

If Memory bus: 333 MHz/Graphics core frequency: 250 MHz Priority is given to performance is selected, internal heat will be built up and make the bottom of

your computer hotter, compared with Memory bus: 266 MHz/Graphics core frequency: 200 MHz Priority is given to power saving.
