Models with the nVIDIA video controller

To select the Multiple Monitors mode, proceed as follows:

1Click the Start button on the Windows taskbar.

2Click Control Panel.

3Click Appearance and Themes.

4Click the Display icon.

5Select the Settings tab.

6Click the Advanced button.

The properties dialog box appears for advanced settings.

7Click the tab with its name beginning with GeForce. Select nView Display Settings from the left menu.

8Select Dualview from the nView Display Mode drop-down list.

9Select Laptop Display from the Primary display drop-down list.

10Click OK.

Your external display may not support the Multiple Monitors function.

On VGN-S series, you can also select the Multiple Monitors mode just by pressing one of the S buttons if you have changed the button assignment to Multiple Monitors with VAIO Control Center. For details on changing the button assignment, Setting up your computer with VAIO Control Center (page 23).
