Previewing a Video DVD and a Photo

DVD

You can play back and check a video DVD and a photo DVD dubbed with the DVDirect in the display window on the top of the unit.

Notes

•Sound cannot be heard when previewing the disc on the DVDirect.

•You cannot output video images to an external device, such as a TV.

•You cannot play back an AVCHD disc.

•You cannot play back discs recorded on a device other than the DVDirect, or a disc recorded with commercial DVD.

1Press the 1 (power) button to turn on the DVDirect.

2Press the RETURN button to display the menu. Press M or m to

select “DVD Preview,” and then press the (select) button.

3Insert a DVD created with the DVDirect.

After the disc is finished being read, its contents are displayed in the display window.

When a finalized video DVD is inserted:

The video titles dubbed on the disc appear in the display window.

Press M m < , to select the title you want to view, and press the (select) button. The selected title starts to play. To stop playback, press the (stop) button.
