Using the AC power adaptor
To the wall outlet (mains)

1Open the DC IN jack cover and connect the DC connecting cable to the DC IN jack of your camera with the v mark facing up.
2Connect the power cord (mains lead) to the AC power adaptor and then to a wall outlet (mains).
Using a car battery
Use Sony DC adaptor/charger (not supplied).
Note
While using the AC power adapter if you do not operate the camera for about
30 minutes with the MODE selector set to STILL or MOVIE, the camera turns off automatically. To use the camera again, slide the POWER switch to turn on the camera again.
However, the camera will not turn off when connected to a personal computer.
