Mobile Chat Via SMS
The T20e makes it possible to chat with a second party using SMS. The chat is a series of short messages and corresponding replies between the two parties, similar to chat services provided on the Internet. This allows the user to review the conversation history in the display, and also to reply to messages by using a few commands. This makes the chat session quicker than using the current SMS feature.
•Nicknames can be used to help identify the user in the chat.
•Suspend chat session and resume. A user can temporarily leave a chat session, for example to use the calculator, or play a game, and then resume the chat session.
•Automatic
•Incoming and outgoing messages are identified with special icons in the display, and with the sender's nickname.
•If the user is inactive for one hour the phone will ask if the user wants to continue the chat session.
•The chat session can be saved as a history, for later review.
