Power supply (Charger)Connect the AC power adapter only to designated
power sources as marked on the product. Make
sure the cord is positioned so that it will not be
subjected to damage or stress. To reduce risk of
electric shock, unplug the unit from any power
source before attempting to clean it. The AC power
adapter must not be used outdoors or in damp
areas. Never alter the cord or plug. If the plug does
not fit into the outlet, have a proper outlet installed
by a qualified electrician.
Use only Sony Ericsson b randed original ch argers
intended for use with your mobile phone. Other
chargers may not be designed to the same safety
and performance standards .
BatteryWe recommend that you fu lly charge the batte ry
before you use your mobile phon e for the first time.
A new battery or one that has not been used for a
long time could have reduced capacity the first few
times it is used. The ba ttery should only be charged
in temperatures between +5×C (+41×F) and +45×C
(+113×F).
Use only Sony Ericsson branded original batteries
intended for use with your mobile phone. Using
other batteries and chargers could be dangerous.
Talk and standby times depend on several different
conditions such as signal strength, operating
temperature, application usage patterns, feat ures
selected and voice or d ata transmission s when the
mobile phone is bei ng used.
Turn off your mobile phone befor e removing the
battery. Do not put the battery into your mouth.
Battery electrolytes may be toxic if swallowed. Do
not let the metal contacts on the battery touch
another metal object. Doi ng this could short-ci rcuit
and damage the battery. Use the battery for the
intended purpose only.
Personal medical devicesMobile phones may affect th e operation of
pacemakers and other implan ted equipment.
Please avoid placing the mobile phone over the
pacemaker, e.g. in your breast pocket. When using
the mobile phone, use it at the ear on the opposite
side of the body to the pacem aker. If a minimum
distance of 15 cm (6 inc hes) is kept betwee n the
mobile phone and the pacemaker, the risk of
interference is limit ed. If you have any r eason to
suspect that interference is taking place,
immediately turn off your m obile phone. Contact
your cardiologist for mor e information.
