Setting Up Your Phone

1.Make sure your SIM card is in place.

See “Your SIM Card” on page 7.

2.Install the battery.

See “Installing the Battery” on page 10.

3. Press and hold the End/Power Key (.) for two		Service
seconds to turn the phone on.
 If your phone is activated, it will turn on, search for
service, and enter standby mode.		Up
 If your phone is not yet activated, see “Activating
		Setting
Your Phone” on page 2 for more information.
Note	You may see a prompt to update your browser
	information. Press the left softkey (the top left key
	below the display screen) to select Ok and complete
	the task.

4.Make your first call.

Use your keypad to enter a phone number.

Press the Talk key (,).
