ACPI Configuration
Use this feature to configure ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface) power management settings for your system.
ACPI Aware OS
Select Yes to enable ACPI support for the OS. Disable this feature if ACPI is not supported by your OS. The options are Yes and No.
Suspend Mode
This option is used to select the ACPI State that is used for system suspend. The options are S1 (POS), S3 (STR) and Auto.
S1 (POS) - All processor caches are erased, and stops executing in- structions. Power to the CPU(s) and RAM is maintained, but RAM is refreshed.
S3 (STR) - The CPU has no power and the power supply goes on reduced power mode. However, main memory (RAM) is still powered.
ACPI Version Feature
This feature allows the user to select the ACPI Version for the system. The op- tions are ACPI 1.0, ACPI 2.0, and ACPI 3.0.
