9. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Care of the Suunto G6
Only perform the procedures described in this manual. Never attempt to disassemble or service your Suunto G6. Protect it from shocks, extreme heat and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Avoid rubbing your Suunto G6 against rough surfaces as this may scratch the face. When not in use store it in a clean, dry environment at room temperature.
You may wipe your Suunto G6 clean with a lightly moistened (warm water) cloth. If there are persistent stains or marks, you may apply mild soap to the area. Do not expose your Suunto G6 to strong chemicals such as gasoline, cleaning solvents, ace- tone, alcohol, insect repellents, adhesives or paint. They will damage the product's seals, case and finish.
9.1. Water Resistance
